Getting Here

The Illinois Interfaith Conference will be held at the University YMCA on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus, located at 1001 S. Wright Street, Champaign. Free and metered parking is available during the conference, and hotels are available for out-of-town guests. If you have any questions about getting to the Illinois Interfaith Conference, contact us at diversity@illinois.edu.

Location Amenities

The University YMCA building is housed at the corner of Wright Street and Chamers Street in Champaign. During the conference, a reflection room will be available for reflection, meditation, or prayer.

Parking

Metered parking is available along Wright Street, Sixth Street, and Chalmers Street. Certain University rental lots are available for free parking after 4 pm Friday (due to Winter Courtesy Hours) and on Saturday. There is a university parking lot on Sixth Street between Daniel Street and Chalmers Street that is free after 5 pm. Do not park in spaces marked for 24/7 rental, as these will continue to be enforced.

Lodging

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus has many lodging options in and around Champaign. The University operates two hotels, the Illini Union Hotel and the I Hotel & Conference Center. For more options, visit Visit Champaign County for a packed list of hotels and motels in the area.
