Equal Employment Opportunity Complaints and Concerns

The Office for Access & Equity, Equal Employment Opportunity Division is responsible for conducting investigations into alleged violations of the Nondiscrimination Policy and the Sexual Misconduct Policy. Incident reports with our office can take a number of paths, to include formal and informal investigations.       

The Equal Employment Opportunity Division also responds to complaints filed with external state and federal agencies such as the Office for Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

Complaint Procedures

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is committed to ensuring that its learning and working environments are free from all forms of discrimination and harassment. These Procedures outline the resolution processes that will be used to investigate and/or resolve a report of harassment and/or discrimination under the Nondiscrimination Policy and the Sexual Misconduct Policy.
