Job Opportunity: ADA Coordinator

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is excited to announce a search for the position of ADA Coordinator. For the first time, the ADA Coordinator will be a free-standing role reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This structure reflects the university’s vision of accessibility as a core component of our DEI values, and will position the ADA Coordinator to lead and collaborate with the campus community.

The ADA Coordinator will provide expertise, guidance and oversight to campus-wide efforts to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act, Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities.
